A fantastic implant experience

My experience in the capable hands of Dr Philip Sommereux was second to none. Never a fan of going to the dentist, I was not happy to learn that I needed an extraction, and then the long process of treatment for an implant. From the very first consultation, Phil was the most considerate, calm and encouraging dentist I have ever experienced; his chair-side manner was really welcoming - in fact I looked forward to each subsequent stage of the treatment, such was the confidence I put in him and his staff. At no time did I have pain...that really surprised me! He explained each part of the procedure as we went along, and having finally reached the last stage of the journey, I am absolutely delighted with the result. Less than 24 hours after the 'new tooth' was put in place....I genuinely cannot tell that it has not always been there....it is a perfect match! Thank you so much.....a brilliant job. Extremely experienced

Philip Sommereux undertook very extensive bridge work for me which I was afraid of having done, but he was so caring at all stages and put me at ease throughout. I am now delighted with the outcome. The care I have received from Philip, Juliet, Sue and Laura has been exceptional, I only wish I had been recommended to him years ago.

Gentle, patient and caring

I had a very bad experience some years back but Philip was so good and our first meeting was mainly chatting, alleviating concerns and fears. Philip did an amazing job with some new dentures that fit! Took a lot of adjustments but now I can eat anything, where before I could only eat soft food. An amazing man.

A very competent and caring dentist

I visited Philip Sommereux and Associates on the recommendation of my daughter who was receiving treatment for gum disease. My own requirements were two fold, treatment for fairly severe gum disease and improving the appearance of my bottom teeth which were crooked to enable me to smile more confidently. The first step taken was to administer an intensive course of treatment for my gum disease which proved very successful. Various options were discussed for my lower teeth and I decided to have porcelain crowns fitted. Whilst not a pleasant experience this dentist made it as comfortable and painless as possible and the results were outstanding. This dentist is a perfectionist and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

When I first ventured into this Dentist I was a nervous wreck having had a traumatic experience as a child and later at another dentist locally. After many years of kindness, understanding and no criticism, I am now able to visit Philip Sommereux with confidence. I cannot recommend this Surgery highly enough. A very caring dentist

I am an elderly woman and had not visited a dentist for 8 years or more and I was also a very nervous patient. I realised my teeth needed attention and decided to see Philip Sommereux and Associates due to the reviews on the internet. I have been having treatment since September 2014 and can honestly say that my fear of dental treatment is over. Mr Sommereux is kind, caring and gentle, he explains everything clearly and I have never been left with discomfort or pain. The reception is warm and friendly with attractive surroundings. I am happy to have found this very nice dentist.

Philip Sommereux was highly recommended to me by a good friend. She had porcelain veneers a couple of years ago and the result is great for everyone to see. As I was considering the same treatment I went to Mr Sommereux's clinic in Eastleigh. First impressions, the clinic is very clean and the staff are very warm and friendly. Mr Sommereux and his assistant are both professional and caring. At the start he advised me about my treatment options and explained clearly all stages, the procedures and the expected results and made sure I was one hundred percent happy after each stage. Needless to say I am completely happy with the results and I can smile with confidence. Lastly, I hope Mr Sommereux does not take an early retirement as I will recommend him to my friends.

Brilliant dentist

I used to be terrified of dentists, my first appointment with Philip Sommereux was no exception but his calm and professional manner helped me to relax. I admitted to being nervous but he was brilliant, he explained everything and when I had treatment I can honestly say it was pain free, including the injection. I have been a patient of his now for a few years and I can now relax completely and am not nervous at all. He is a fantastic dentist, calm, efficient and courteous and the same applies to his staff.

A very satisfactory visit

I used Philip Sommereux in an emergency as my NHS dentist was fully booked. I needed to have a painful wisdom tooth removed asap as I was going away. Philip removed the tooth which was cracked, as shown on the X-ray. The removal was painless as the gum was completely numbed. After care was detailed in a guide. All in all a very satisfactory visit.

Very happy with everything. Being in a wheelchair I was helped in and out of the practice, treated with the utmost respect at all times. I needed some extensive work done as my teeth had not been properly looked after. I am a very nervous patient and have a needle phobia.
